What is art? Many people have the wrong perspectiv What is art? Many people have the wrong perspectives and ideas when it comes to art and artists. Here are the most common art stereotypes and what it really is: 1️⃣ Perfectionists- I think criticism fits better than perfectionists. You see, artists takes the most vulnerable things in their life and bring them to the world. They use their deepest feelings, thoughts, dreams, and desires. It can’t be perfect, it will never be and that’s the beauty of art. We may seem perfectionists because we CARE about our work, because we put our soul into it, and because we (and you) always going to criticize it. 2️⃣Too depressed and moody (emotional unstable)- you’ll be surprised how many artists are normal, functioning people. For me, art is another way of expressing and dealing some of my issues but it’s also a way of showing the best things in my life. Not all of us cut our ear or be supper unstable. 3️⃣ Artists are brook, you can’t earn from art- the truth is you CAN. It may not be easy but art can be more than just a hobby and some people make a lot of money selling their art. 4️⃣ Live in a dream world- one thing that I never told you about me, my family would say I’m like a “kite” (in Hebrew it makes more sense) that I’m always flying around, never fully in the ground, my head always in the cloud. I won’t lie, one of the reasons why I love art is the ability to have this unique world, but I certainly don’t live in it. Truth be told, artists don’t live in a dream world, they create it. 5️⃣ Everyone can throw some paint and call it art- Do I really need to explain how wrong it is? Some art may seem more complicated and some may seem easier to replicate. But If you haven’t tried, you can’t judge. 6️⃣ Traditional art is dying due to technology- not true, people still buy art in thousands and millions of dollars. 7️⃣ You have to fo to art school to be successful- some of the best well known artists are self taught (Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Paul Gaugin, and more). Art school teach you art history and helps you learn techniques but it’s up to you to do something with it. Also, you’ll always have new things to learn when it comes to art. Even if you went to art school, th
“The creative process is a process of surrender, “The creative process is a process of surrender, not control”- Julia Cameron January is the creativity month so I’ll thought I’ll try new things. I don’t believe an artist can only have one style. There are plenty of things to try and create 😊 *** check out my newest blog post about the best places in Tel Aviv ***

✨What are your values? ✨Our values makes us h ✨What are your values? ✨Our values makes us how we are. If we don’t know our values, we don’t know anything. It is the most fundamental thing and what drives us in our lives. If affects our choices- the people we choose to be around, our jobs, hobbies, and basically everything we do. ✨I sat down recently to write down my values and what makes them so meaningful to me. I started with 25 values and narrow them to my top 7 values: Empathy
Love
Uniqueness
Resilience
Compassion
Creativity
Family ✨When you know your values you know what you need to attract to your life. You know what you truly care about and what doesn’t work for you.
Identify your values is the first step in attracting the right things to your life. ✨Try to think about it for 2 minutes, I care about a lot of things that's not in my top 7. What truly guides you and motivates you? ✨If you want to share, I would love to hear what you value? What makes you who you are? You don’t have to share but I hope you’ll take the time and think about it. Feel free to DM your answer!

Check out my newest blog post - 10 Simple Oil Pain Check out my newest blog post - 10 Simple Oil Painting Tips and Techniques for Beginners! Swipe right to see some of the tips 🎨 Oil paint is my FAVORITE medium to use. I work with acrylic, ink, markers, pens, and charcoals but for me, nothing compares to oil paint. Working with oils can be tricky and takes a lot of learning but totally worth it. These tips can help transform your process and help you master your techniques. 🎨Here’s some of the tips: 1️⃣Paint Dark to Light- this one is complicated to explain in one sentence. Overall, it’s easier to maintain the values and blend the colors more realistically. (Read the whole explaining in the blog) 2️⃣Paint with a Limited Palette- more colors don’t mean better painting. Use the 3 primaries (blue, red, yellow), white, and brown. You can create different variations of every color using these colors. 3️⃣Get to Know your Materials- You have to know the materials you work with. For example, you can’t use acrylic on oil. Acrylic is water based, water and oil don’t go together. If you use acrylic on oil, your painting will crack and get ruined. On the other hand, you can use oil on acrylic. 4️⃣Paint with Palette Knife- the knife can do more than just mixing the paint. Play around and see what texture it can add to your painting. The knife forces you to get away from the specific lines and focus on the bigger picture- shapes and texture. Don’t be afraid to use it! If you’re interesting in learning more about oil painting, read my full blog. I explain each technique in-depth and I have no doubt that by following these tips you will be able to see a change in your art. 🤩🎨
My favorite thing about memories is making them! 🤩 I can’t believe winter break is almost over. December went by so quickly that I barely noticed how much I was able to do and how many memories I made. I went skiing for the first time (I promise to tell more about it), drove twice to the coast, wrote 3 blog posts, and reached most of my 2020’s goals. On Wednesday, we were trying to look for whales (again) without any luck (again 🙈), but got to see some incredible new places in north Oregon-Astoria and Washington. I love days where you end up discovering new places and create unique memories. Did you create good memories during the break? ☺️
People always ask me how I’m able to do everythi People always ask me how I’m able to do everything that I do? How I have time? Do I ever rest? My answers are- Motivation, Time Management and YES. I used to feel like the days are flying by and I wasted months without doing anything. I had my routine and I used to go back home without motivation to do anything. What changed?
❗️For those you don’t know, I’m a psychology student. Most of my classes talked about what motivates us to do what we do, communication, and more. I was fascinated by what drives us, what makes us different, and what we need to do in order to change. With time, I begin to preach what I’ve learn and truly believe in it. ❗️The Alchemist- not the first time I’m mentioning this book but it really changed my perspectives. After reading it last year, I decided it’s time to finally take my life into my own hands. ‼️Steps for being productive: 1️⃣Write EVERYTHING you love/ want to do. Then prioritize them. What is more important? Art? Time with friends? Traveling? Cooking?
2️⃣What you need to do in order to be able to do what you want? Write it down next to each point.
3️⃣How much time you spend a day on food, work, school, sleep? Let’s say 2 hours for food, 8 for work/school and 7 for sleep- total of 17.
4️⃣Now you have 7 hours a day (~50 hours a week) to do whatever you want. Go back to your list, how much time it takes for each of the points? Let’s say you need 5 hours a week for blogs, 20 hours for art, 10 for family/friends, 5 social media, 5 for TV, 5 for exercise. I made a FREE productivity worksheet that you can either print or fill out on your computer. I decided to do it for free because I truly believe we can do everything we want. We don’t have to give up on the things we love! The link to the worksheet is on my bio => download now and start investing your time on what you WANT!
